Year 3 - Week 2

Good morning everyone!

We have had another great week in Year 3 and are continuing to impress Mrs Leigh with behaviour and attitude to learning. Today, we are excited to set up our investigation on the playground about how shadows behave and will be checking on our shadow stick every hour, to take measurements. We are thoroughly enjoying our guided reading sessions and have written some fantastic sentences using exciting verbs this week. Maths is one of our favourite lessons and we are flying through our place value objectives! 

Just a couple of reminders going forward. PE day is Wednesday, the children should come dressed in PE kit but MUST have pumps in a bag or they will be unable to take part in the hall. Toast money needs to be paid on a FRIDAY (£1) in an envelope, we cannot accept it on any other day of the week. Finally, please direct any enquiries or messages through the school office to keep the flow of parents and children on the playground moving steadily.
