Y6 weekly update 27th November
Date: 27th Nov 2020 @ 6:01pm
It's been a busy week in Year 6 and Christmas is creeping ever closer. The children have been working hard in maths on fractions since half term, but this week it has been lovely to see the children becoming much more confident in changing improper fractions into mixed numbers, adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions. Next week we will be moving on to dividing fractions.
Congratulations to Michael, who became our first Millionaire Reader. He has read 1,000,000 words since September and has enjoyed reading a wide variety of books and quizzing on them. He now aims to be our first multi-millionaire reader! A big well done to everyone in class who is trying hard to increase their word count. Please remember to put your reading messages on seesaw.
Finally, a reminder that next Friday will be a special Christmas themed day. Remember to wear your Christmas jumper and bring your Christmas spirit.
