Y6 weekly update 20th November
Date: 20th Nov 2020 @ 4:14pm
It has been an enjoyable week in Year 6 as we have been coding in our computing work using purple mash. All week the children have been writing their own algorithms in order to create a variety of mini games. I have been amazed by the additional work many of the children have completed at home in their own time using the login details in the home learning books.
I also need to thank the parents that are helping their children improve their maths skills by working on the paper 1 maths tests that the children take home on a Friday. Many children have explained how they are working on the questions they got wrong with adult support and then it's lovely to see the scores increasing the following week. We have had some smiling faces this week when test papers were handed back!
This week congratulations go to Dylan and Alfie.
Alfie has achieved the Christian Value for creativity. It has been a pleasure to read his adventure story with outstanding vocabulary and a wide range of punctuation.
Dylan has achieved the star this week for being helpful and showing an amazing attitude to all his work.
