Y5 Class Blog, Week Beginning: 16.11.2020

This week in Y5, we have been rounding and using the inverse operation to check our answers in Maths, and we have been looking at the ‘There’s A Ran-tan In My Bedroom’ poem in English. The children have really tried hard to think about their syllables and rhyming words – it’s quite challenging but these Y5s are up to the task!

Our Super Star this week is Hasan – I’m so proud of how well Hasan has been doing in Geography. Hasan can talk confidently about the equator, the northern and southern hemispheres and the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn, in relation to the world’s rainforests. This is impressive stuff – keep up the good work Hasan!

Our Christian Value winner is Logan – he won this last week for creativity. Logan completed a lovely poppy design to go on our Remembrance Tree but wasn’t here last week, to receive his award. Well done Logan – your poppy looks lovely on our tree.

Not only is Hasan our Super Star this week but he’s also King of the Dojos, Hasan received the most dojos out of everyone in the class. Great job Hasan!
