Y5 Blog Week beginning 09.11.2020

This week we've thought a lot about Remembrance Day in Y5 - they have produced some really thoughtful poetry linked to this and I was very impressed with the respect they have shown throughout the week. We have started looking at rounding to estimate our answers in our maths work and we have started to complete some interesting writing linked to life in the Amazon Rainforest.

Our Superstar and Christian Value winners:

Eleanor is our Superstar - Eleanor blew me away with the very emotive personification poem she wrote, linked to our work on remembrance this week. She showed that she had really reflected on everything we'd spoken about in class. Well done Eleanor.

Logan is our Christian Value winner - Logan created an excellent poppy design to go on to our Remembrance Tree in the school hall. You have won the award for creativity this week Logan - good job!

The boys have taken the crown back this week - Morgan is King on the Dojos with Grace coming a close second. Well done you two!
