Y3 Class Blog - week 7th Dec

The Christmas spirit has well and truly arrived at St. Peter's. The children were so excited to see Santa and two of his reindeer last Friday, it was really magical! We enjoyed making some widlife friendly reindoor food to sprinkle out on Christmas Eve and using our fine motor skills to make reindeers out of pipe cleaners.

We will be videoing our Christmas production on Tuesday and the children should come into school dressed as colours of the Irish flag (green, white or orange). They can stay in these clothes all day. On Wednesday it's our Christmas party, so the children can come dressed in their party outfit, ready for lots of fun and games. 

Amongst all of the festive fun, we have been completing assessments and I am really impressed with the children's maturity and growth mindset attitude to these. They have progressed so much this half term. Some of the children have rocketed in their reading levels, so thank you for supporting reading at home.

We are looking forward to our Christmas Dinner today and showing off our Christmas Jumpers.
