Welcome back Year 6

It has been lovely to get the class back together this week and I can see that the children have really enjoyed playing together at breaktime.  In class, everyone has been working hard, building upon the work they've completed during the lockdown.

It has been Science Week in school and the children have had the opportunity to plan and carry out investigations.  They have investigated which biscuits are best for dunking in a cup of tea and they have explored how we could clean up an oil spill!  They have shown initiative, teamwork and resilence.  Then on Wednesday the science workshop was amazing and I'm sure you've already heard all about it!

I will be sending out an email for the children to take part in a science competition if they wish to, so keep a lookout for the message.
