Weekly update

It was lovely to see everyone again on Monday after our week's rest! We have settled back into school life really well and had lots of fun this week. We have started our new class reader, Danny the Champion of the World, begun learning about non-chronological reports in English, looking at Healthy Humans in Science and also starting our addition and subtraction work in Maths. 

We had lots of fun in PE on Wednesday afternoon completing our orienteering course outside, the children absolutely loved the challenge. Josh and Robyn were the first to complete the course and Amelie and Levi were the first to crack the code, well done! Have a look at the pictures attached.

I can see lots of children reading at home and their word counts are going up and up, thank you for your support in this. Remember it's parents evening via zoom or phone call next Tuesday for Year 3, book your slot and let me know via the survey whether you want to use Zoom (video call) or phone, with your preferred phone number.
