Weekly update - 9th Oct

We've had a busy week this week. We've learned all about exciting adverbs in English and how to write a character description. In maths, we've learned how to find 1, 10 or 100 more or less than 3 digit numbers. 

Most excitingly, we are hoping to go on a geography walk this morning to find the physical and human features of our local area. The children had great fun yesterday looking at their local area on Google Maps. However, some of us needed a bit of practice using the zoom feature as they eneded up in Russia and the North Sea! Why don't you have a play on Google maps together at home this weekend and see if you can spot some of the features on our walk today?

A reminder that our knowledge organiser for geography has been sent home and is also on our class page on the school website. Keep your fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine at 10.45am today!
