Weekly update - 25th Sept

Another great week in Year 3. The children have really impressed me in English this week, writing lovely setting descriptions and coming up with creative adjectives and verbs. In Maths, we are continuing to fly through our place value objectives, with some children progressing onto really tricky problem solving. My photograph today is of yesterday's science investigation into how shadows behave. The class loved it and learned lots about moving shadows using our new torches and objects around the classroom. 

Thank you to everyone who is updating Seesaw once a week about their child's reading at home. We collect the information on a Monday so just one messgae over the weekend about the week is great. Also, let me know any day of the week if your child needs to change their book. A reminder that a water bottle is needed in school every day and that pumps are needed on a Wednesday, so that your child can join in PE in the hall.
