weekly update 25th September

It's been a busy week in Year 6.  We have been working hard on multiplying 4 digit numbers by 2 digit numbers in maths.  The children have been pushing themselves to recall multiplication facts and I have been really pleased with the number of children using TT Rockstars to help them build up their speed of recall.  

In History we have been finding out why Benin Kingdom was thriving by 1300 AD.  Ask your children to tell you about the guilds they had and about the slave trade.

Awards

This week we are congratulating Harley for achieving the Christian Value of perseverance.  He has worked so hard to join his writing and is very proud of himself.

Meanwhile Kyle C gets the superstar for an all round amazing attitude.
